Roach-kinden are a brown-skinned, white-haired, smallish Inapt race found across the world, with no true home of their own.
History[]
At some point in the past Roach-kinden came to an understanding with the Mantis-kinden of Nethyon and Etheryon. Due to this Roaches can come and go through both forest holds as they please without fear of being accosted by the Mantids. The agreement only holds as long as Roaches do not interfere in internal Mantid matters.
Culture[]
They are a wandering kinden with no permanent cities, and despite their rustic, inoffensive nature they are often maligned as thieves and vagabonds, which some of them certainly are. The rest however are merchants, tinkers, entertainers and musicians, kind-hearted people who show none of the prejudice with which they are treated. They live in travelling clans, and are very loyal to each other.
Settlements[]
Roach-kinden are a nomadic people who traditionally have no cities of their own. However many roaches flock to Princeps Salma after it's founding due to the lack of prejudice against their race in the fledging city largely due to a member of their kinden serving as the highest minister of government after the Monarch. Roaches hold many lesser roles in government as well.

Wood eating - Roach-kinden can eat and digest wood. They find the taste and texture horrible but this Art ensures Roaches never starve no matter where they live. Roaches can eat through wooden structures to gain entry.
